Freshman - International City Sculpture

Students were each "commissioned" to create a abstract sculpture for a particular international city.  They were all given a particular city (Cape Town, Dubai, London, etc.) and were required to research their given city to determine what was important to the citizens and what makes them unique.  They were then challenged with the task of coming up with a simple, sturdy design that represented that city.  Using cardboard, tape, oil paint and glue, their goal was to create a simple, yet meaningful design.  See what they've come up with!
